Nature
Under the heading of Nature come paintings of trees,
gardens, fields and other landscapes. Do I need to say anything about the
glory of an apple tree in bloom or one weighted by fruits? Much has
been said about the serene beauty of a garden and the striking magical
presence of flowers. I’d rather paint the poetry.
The fields around the house where I live are
harvested for hay. Walking among the bales I am taken by their
(potential) mobility, their strong, almost animated presence.
Our farm is an endless source of inspiration and
delights.
